Elsewhere, the collection looks to the past. The Postal Jacket, Single Knee Pant and Zip Shirt take their cue from 50s postal uniforms, cut in a crisp, contemporary polycotton and grounded in neutral shades of beige, navy and black. The Mercer Shirt Jacket and Pant, meanwhile, reinterprets a traditional rail worker's Hickory Stripe in two versions: worn-in and stone-washed, and bleached to a sun-faded, aged finish.

Further into the collection, t-shirts and short-sleeve shirts take a more graphic turn – from allover print styles like the Vestige Shirt and Snake Camo Shirt, to the bold Gareth Shirt in 'Oxide' Red.
